What do we offer?

This Site Safety course is the mandatory industry standard for those who have finished one of the trades (bricklaying, plastering, plumbing etc.), and wish to work on site. It proves that individuals have acquired the necessary training to be able to carry out their line of work.

Our course is also a popular alternative because it enables you to take your CSCS Test without the requirement of a level 2 construction qualification. This course underlines the key potential hazards on site and compiles a trust worthy set of guidelines and advice on maintaining your safety. Successful candidates will be awarded the CITB Health and Safety Awareness Certificate, renewable every 5 years.

The course is finalised by passing a HS&E (Health, Safety & Environment Awareness) paper based question paper, comprised of 25 questions. Upon passing this Health & Safety Awareness test, you will have gained a firm and confident understanding of the laws on health and safety and how to report potential hazards in prevention of accidents, which will get you working on site in no time! Our course is completed over the duration of just one day, you can then come in only 48 hours later to sit your CSCS HS&E test (Health, Safety & Environment), or any other time that suits you!

We provide you with your own training bays & equipment (can bring your own tools & equipment if preferred, e.g. your own calibrated multifunction tester)

CSCS HS&E Test (Health, Safety & Environment)

The HS&E test is 45 minutes in duration and is done via our on site computers, via Pearson VUE. The test is available with voiceover in the following languages: English, Welsh, German, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Romanian, Russian, Bulgarian, Czech, Hungarian, French and Spanish.

Once you have successfully completed the 50 question CSCS HS&E Test, you will be given a verified pass results. Your results then need to be entered by yourself on the CITB card checker website and a further £36.00 fee to CITB. They will then send you your CSCS card via the Royal Mail shortly after.

The 1 day course we offer can be purchased with the HS&E Test included, or just by itself. However, please note if you do not have a level 2 NVQ in a construction trade, then you will need to also complete our 1 day health site safety awareness course in order to be allowed to work on site.

Photo identification is required for you to be admitted to the CSCS Test. Please bring this with you on the day

If you are under the age of 18, then you must also bring a completed Parental consent form with you on the morning of your 1 day course. Failure to bring either of these forms with you on the day will result in your not being able to attend the course.
Please also inform a member of the office team if you require any reasonable adjustments.
