Course Description

We created this accredited qualification, no other provider does it! Our course is perfect if you're looking to start your own business in the lucrative bathroom design and installation market, or if you are a keen DIY'er who wants to redesign their own bathroom without spending £1000’s on professional services. It ensures the job is done correctly and with a professional finish by introducing you to the bathroom installation trade and teaching you ALL the essential skills through hands-on training.

You will gain experience in all aspects of bathroom design, including tiling, plastering, and plumbing, to prepare you for any project you undertake. Whether you're looking to complete basic DIY tasks or take your first steps into the bathroom design trade, this course is perfect for you! Our professional, friendly, and experienced tutors will teach you everything you need to know to confidently carry out typical bathroom design, tiling, plastering, and plumbing tasks.

On this course, your tutor will teach you how to use a range of different tools, materials and items of equipment. You will also learn the basic skills that you will need when you are carrying out typical plumbing, plastering and tiling tasks. You will have gained all of the skills required for you to: design and renovate a full bathroom suite, carry out minor plumbing work, plaster walls and ceilings to a smooth finish, tiling walls and floors learning different techniques and more.

By the end of the course, you'll be trained in all aspects of basic bathroom design, tiling, and plumbing.

Schedule & Duration:

10 days or 5 weekends (9:00am – 4:30pm, breaks included)

We provide you with your own work bay & equipment (gear & tools included except safety boots which you need)

Moreover, we are located in CV7 9NH, just off the M6 motorway, close to several food places and hotels nearby.

What happens after?

Upon successful completion of this course, you'll have all the skills needed to design and install a complete bathroom suite with a professional finish. Whether it's planning and renovating a full bathroom, handling basic plumbing tasks, plastering walls and ceilings to a smooth finish, or tiling floors and walls, we cover all the essential techniques and more!

You'll also receive an NOCN Certificate of Competence from our approved training centre, validating your newly acquired skills in bathroom design and installation.

If you choose to pursue a career path in plumbing, following your course, you will need a CSCS card to access and work on a building site. To obtain a CSCS card, you must pass the Health & Safety CSCS test. For CSCS card training and Health & Safety courses for CSCS, feel free to check out our 1 Day Site Safety Course (CSCS test incl.). However, for pursuing a career in plumbing from the very beginning, we recommend our Level 2 Plumbing Course, which delves deeper into the theoretical aspects of plumbing, providing you with more valuable knowledge of the trade along with extensive practical experience!

Our Bathroom Design Workshop

This course will provide you with an insight into the plumbing industry and teach you lots of new skills, working with the latest plumbing materials by John Guest Speedfit, Hep2O, as well as traditional copper solder and compression fittings, with a maximum of 3 students at a time. This way, each student gets enough guidance and tuition from our tutors, allowing you to ask questions and get plenty of one-to-one instruction and ensuring that you pass the course with all the required knowledge and understanding.

You will be given your own plumbing work bay, and will be trained by an experienced plumber who will build your confidence and provide you with the professional skills & knowledge that will enable you to give a high-end, confident finish to your domestic plumbing jobs, or the first step on a career as a plumber (if you are looking to become a qualified plumber, make sure to check out our Level 2 Plumbing Qualification Course!).
